Hi Everyone,

Another productive day at quilting today with a visit from Teresa a fellow quilter from the UK who is visiting her family but just needed a day of sewing. It was a pleasure to meet you Teresa and thank you for providing the delicious chocolates which we all enjoyed. We wish you and your husband safe travels home to the UK. Teresa has made her grandson Theo a beautiful cot quilt which I am sure will take pride of place in the home - see photo in Show & Tell.

Our other visitor was Alex - Gill’s daughter who called in to see us. Alex will be sending out an invitation to each member via email for the Celebration of Gill which will be held on Saturday 2nd August in the afternoon. Please keep an eye out for the invitation as Alex will need to know numbers for catering etc and don’t forget to check your spam folder.

We are all ready to go to the Sydney Craft & Quilt Fair next week and look forward to having a fun time and hopefully encourage new members to our group. Thank you to everyone who has organised artwork, printing, transporting and setup of quilts and those who have volunteered to help during the Fair days.

Mid Week Retreat

Our mid week Retreat is at North Ryde RSL Club, 27-41 Magdala Road, North Ryde on Tuesday and Wednesday 9th - 10th September from 10am - 5pm. Come and enjoy the fun at our Retreat.
