About Us

We are a group of enthusiastic needleworkers who come from many different walks of life. We began as a small gathering of friends in 1982 and now we have 70 members.
The common thread that binds us is our love of making quilts. Patchwork and quilting has a long history with many styles and techniques, at Hunters Hill Quilters we cover the full gamut, from the traditional styles to the more modern methods.

We meet every Thursday at Fairland Hall, Church Street, Hunters Hill for 4 hours, 10.00am to 2pm.

Our group encourages the exchange of patchwork and quilting ideas, techniques and experiences along with gossip, fun and companionship. We enjoy using our skills to contribute to the local community and showcasing our work at our Biennial Quilt Shows.

We have an extensive library, printer, sewing machines, light box, rules and pretty much all the 'tools of the trade' for members to share.

New members are always welcome.
