Hi Everyone,

Today at quilting we had a visit from Gill’s daughter Alex who kindly donated her Mum’s fabric stash to our group. Gill was a Wagga Queen and we have been fortunate enough to replenish our fabric supplies in the Wagga cupboard thanks to her donation, so have a go at making a Wagga. If you need any ideas or help you can talk to Grace.

Some of the fabric that is donated to us is redirected to Days for Girls and today Alison showed us a completed kit that is sent overseas. Recently Days for Girls were asked to supply kits to a primary school in the inner west - we are fortunate to have such an organisation that will help those in need. Thank you to the ladies from HHQ who volunteer their time and sewing skills to Days for Girls.

Mid Week Retreat

Please pay for the Retreat ASAP. Our mid week Retreat is at North Ryde RSL Club, 27-41 Magdala Road, North Ryde on Tuesday and Wednesday 9th - 10th September from 10am - 5pm.

QuiltNSW

QuiltNSW has sent Raffle tickets for our members to purchase they are $2 per ticket and the raffle will be drawn at the Quilt Exhibition in September.
