Hi Everyone,

Thanks to all the ladies who attended quilting today and welcome home to Kathy who has been teaching Organic Appliqué at her workshops in the USA.

Next week 19th February we will be hold our AGM at 12noon in the hall. All members are welcome to attend.

This is your last week to finish your Christmas Challenge block. Your completed work must be handed in by 19th February.

Last week Deb T took 40 Baby quilts to Olivia to be handed out at RPA’s NICU on Valentine’s Day on behalf of Little Wonder organisation.

Show News

We have confirmation that our judge for our 2026 Quilt Show will be Deputy Mayor of Hunters Hill Julia Prieston.

Julia is available to present the Alysoun Ryves Trophy for Best in Show and to the other Judges Choice winners on Thursday 20th August. Coleen has accepted to assist Julia with any queries she may have regarding quilts that are displayed for judging.

The show flyers arrived today thanks to Deb T, Alison and John who organised photos, wording and the layout.

HHQ Quilt Show 2026

Hunters Hill Quilters are having their biennial quilt show on August 14th to August 17th 2026 at Hunters Hill Town Hall. Apart from a display of beautiful quilts made by members, there will be a display of Waggas, handcrafted items and quilts for sale and our very popular cafe serving homemade cakes and sandwiches. Two hand sewn quilts will also be raffled.
