Today at quilting Marie showed us her completed Cot quilt which was started by a friend’s daughter for her new born son, but like so many things in our busy lives it was never finished. The boy is now eight and Marie completed the quilt to be donated to Community. Childhood memories of reading Dr Seuss books brings a smile to your face thinking of Green Eggs and Ham.
We made great progress on the wall hanging and Suzie has taken it home to work her magic with her sewing machine. I can’t wait to see it next week.
The Executive Committee had a meeting today where we discussed the AGM, Finance, Quilt Show and newly created positions to be filled to help spread the work load. Stay tuned for the exciting reveal.
