Hi Everyone,
Spring has arrived and the weather today was perfect for quilting at Fairland Hall. It is always exciting seeing the community quilts being sewn or a group of ladies working on putting a quilt together creating the quilt sandwich. Now the quilting fun begins and I can’t wait to see the finished project.
Don’t forget that September is our birthday month for Hunters Hill Quilters and we will be celebrating this milestone on Thursday 17th. Please bring a glass to share in some bubbles and another excuse to indulge in eating cake at quilting.
Our Retreat is next week and Helen has kindly offered to lead a Needlecase workshop for us. Narelle has sent an email to us this afternoon with the requirements on what you will need to bring to make a Needlecase. I look forward to seeing those who are attending the Retreat on Tuesday at 10:30am at the North Ryde RSL.
