20th August - Quilt Show Presentation Day

Hi Everyone, 

After a busy 4 days last week and over the weekend for our Quilt Show all I can say is congratulations on a job well done to all our members who helped make our show a success. We welcomed many visitors to the Town Hall and even some rain didn’t deter people from attending and admiring our quilts.

Today Helen was presented with the Alysoun Ryves Trophy for Best in Show by Kathy from Material Obsession who was a sponsor for the show.

We also invited Coleen to attend this morning to show our appreciation for her assistance to the Judge by marking off  the quilts to compile a short list for Judges Choice and Best of Show. Coleen scribes the comments made by the Judge for us to attach to the winning quilts. This is not a task for the faint of heart and Coleen handled her duties efficiently and professionally throughout the process of judging.

Thanks to Kerry D for organising our delicious morning tea it was enjoyed by everyone.

Narelle sent out an email this week please make sure you read and respond to the questions asked. Our Retreat is at North Ryde RSL Club, 27-41 Magdala Road, North Ryde on Tuesday and Wednesday 

8th - 9th September from 10:30am - 5pm.

QuiltNSW Exhibition 2026

17th - 19th September at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse 9:30am - 4pm Entry $28 Free Parking. We have Raffle Tickets for sale at quilting if you wish to purchase some please see Sandy.
