On a cold and wet day it was lovely to see all your smiling faces at quilting today.
Show News Update. At our Show meeting last week the committee discussed the number of quilt entries per member, the charity we are supporting to come and talk to our group, formal invitation to the judge and times required for judging. We also discussed the timing for opening the show and presentation of prizes. Suzie is looking into the rosettes, Christie gave an update on some kitchen issues that were experienced last year. Updates were given on Publicity, Lighting and Stage Sales - these were on track for HHQ holding a fabulous Show.

Mid Week Retreat
Our mid week Retreat is at North Ryde RSL Club, 27-41 Magdala Road, North Ryde on Tuesday and Wednesday 9th - 10th September from 10am - 5pm. The numbers are now closed so that the catering and cost of the retreat can be finalised. Narelle will send you an email next week.
QuiltNSW
QuiltNSW has sent Raffle tickets for our members to purchase they are $2 per ticket and the raffle will be drawn at the Quilt Exhibition in September.
