Hi Everyone,

We had another busy day at quilting today with the continuation of our raffle Wagga - no photos as we want it to be a surprise. It was great to be able to catch up with Hayley today and to hear all her news. You can see the quilt Hayley has made out of batik fabric in Show & Tell.

We placed our order for our pull-up banner today for us to have at our booth at the Sydney Craft & Quilt Fair in June. Thank you to Deb, Alison and Suzie who worked on this project.

Last year at our Retreat Ann won the fun game of Strip Poker using jelly roll strips and how do you use all this fabric? Ann made book marks for our Show from her precious stash of jelly roll fabrics - look at the photo in Show Chatter.

Next Show Committee Meeting

Our next meeting will be held on Thursday 8th May.

Craft & Quilt Fair

The Fair will be held at the ICC Darling Harbour on 25-28 June. 

Please consider volunteering to help at the Craft & Quilt Fair - there is a sign up sheet at quilting.

Mid Week Retreat

Our mid week Retreat is at North Ryde RSL Club, 27-41 Magdala Road, North Ryde on Tuesday and Wednesday 9th - 10th September from 10am - 5pm. The cost is $150 and this will include morning tea and lunch for both days. On Tuesday 9th it has been suggested that we have dinner together at the club - this will be at your own cost. 

QuiltNSW

Thursday May 1 is an important date for your diary - it is the day entries open for the 2025 Sydney Quilt Show. You will have until 5pm on Sunday 25th May to enter your quilts.

To enter, you need to be a current QuiltNSW member and your quilt top needs to be finished. You will have until the end of July to finish the quilting and binding before delivering it to your drop-off volunteer who will get it to judging day and then it’s on to the exhibition.

You can enter a maximum of two quilts.
