To those members who were able to make it to quilting today it was wonderful to see you and hear all the chatter in the room. Some of our lovely ladies have been unwell lately so we want to let you know we are thinking of you and hope to see you back at quilting when you can make it.
Krystiana for RizeUp dropped off a poster and some flyers to display at our Show today. If any visitors to our Show wish to donate directly to RizeUp there is a QR code on the flyer for them to make a donation.
Show News
We made it into the weekly eNews email sent by Hunters Hill Council for the second week in a row. Thanks Hunters Hill Council and Deb who has been working hard on our publicity.
Our Stage Sales area at our Show is always popular with our visitors. Our members have been busy making items. The quilt pictured below was made by Robyn J and has already found a new home. Suzie and her team will be on hand to help you for the 3 days of our Show.
Not to be outdone our Wagga area with Grace and Jenny has also had a couple of sales of our fabulous Waggas. There will be over 30 Waggas to tempt you to purchase and a stitching area for you to sit and stitch and have a chat. If you can’t sew don’t worry we are more than
happy to help and show you how.
Narelle is finalising the Cafe menu and has a wonderful team of ladies ready to help out and to make the Cafe run smoothly for the entirety of the Show. There will be tea, coffee, sandwiches, mouth watering cakes, slices, tasting plates and scones jam and cream for purchase.
Kathy from Material Obsession will have a stall at our Show. Our 2 Raffle quilts have been hanging at Material Obsession for the last couple of weeks and the ticket sales have been pleasing.

Retreat
Narelle sent out an email with all the details about the Retreat and when payment is due. The Retreat will be held at St Joseph’s Spirituality & Educational Centre, 8 Humphrey Road Kincumber South on 6th - 8th September.
