7th March Community Day

Hi Everyone,

Today was our Bunting voting day and bag making workshop. All I can say is thank you to everyone who participated in the Bunting challenge and once again I am amazed at the variety produced by our members. The Bunting will be sold at our Quilt Show in August.

The bag making workshop had us all busy and we were able to sew the seven kits prepared by Suzie L, Deb T and Alison. Special thanks to our “supervisor” Marie K who kept us on the straight and narrow as an expert in making the bags.

Our viewers choice winner is Heather who made the doll bunting. Thanks to Grace and Akiko who hung the Bunting for us today.

Quilt Show Update

146 days till our show.

Alison has organised for Krystiana from RizeUp  to come and speak to us on 21st March.

It’s all systems go for our show for 1-4th August.

Annual Membership Fees

Membership fees are now due please see Jonquil with your payment if you are paying cash or you can EFT your $120 to our bank account. If you are unsure of the bank details please see me at quilting.

Retreat

Narelle is taking names for our Retreat in September, so if you are interested see Narelle at quilting and she will give you a form to complete.
