Our first Community Day for 2024 was today and as per usual we were a busy group. Grace lead our Table Runner workshop with fabric from our community stash - our members assembled their runner called Christmas Tree table runner by Kathy Doughty (kits are available from Material Obsession www.materialobsession.com.au).
Community News
Today Jane gathered 40 baby quilts to be delivered to Olivia for Little Wonder @ RPA to be handed out on Valentine’s Day.
Our Pink Group completed a hexagon design cover for a wheelchair for a resident at a local nursing home.
Quilt Show Update
6 months or 182 days today until our Quilt Show!! I know the 1st August is bump in day and the show will officially open on Friday 2nd but I am now adding in a countdown calendar and updates of important dates.
Annual General Meeting
To be held on Thursday 15th February. If you are unable to attend the AGM please send your apologies to Ros. The Agenda for the AGM will be sent out to you soon. The Vice President’s position is vacant. If you would like to volunteer to be on the Management committee and would like to find out more information please come and see me.
