Hi Everyone,
Another fabulous day at quilting today with plenty of chatter and laughter to be heard around the hall. The design wall was up and Iris was brave placing the blocks that Jenny, Robyn S have been making with her. I think I heard only 40 more blocks each to make!!
Please note the change of venue for the Modern Quilt Show which will now be held at the Petersham Town Hall. All the details are listed below.
Next week will be our first Community Day at quilting and I am looking forward to seeing all the projects continuing to completion.

Annual General Meeting
Notice to all members our AGM will be held on Thursday 19th February at 12 noon. Please make sure you sign the attendance book or give your apologies to Suzie L if you cannot attend the AGM.
The Executive Committee will be continuing in their roles for 2026 but we will need to discuss some matters at the AGM so we look forward to your input.

HHQ Quilt Show 2026

Hunters Hill Quilters are having their biennial quilt show on August 14th to August 17th 2026 at Hunters Hill Town Hall. Apart from a display of beautiful quilts made by members, there will be a display of Waggas, handcrafted items and quilts for sale and our very popular cafe serving homemade cakes and sandwiches. Two hand sewn quilts will also be raffled. Christmas Challenge This year’s challenge is to make an 8.5”x 8.5” (to make a 8” x 8” block) square block in bright colours with white if it is in the design of your fabric. You can choose your own pattern/design anything is acceptable- appliqué, hand or machine stitch your block. Due back by 19th February.
