Today at quilting was Community Day and we had a visit from Marie’s (former member) husband Alf who was avid reader of our blog to Marie and saw that today was Community so he came with a quilt top Marie had made and we are going to finish so it can be donated to a good cause. I will post a picture when we have finished the quilt.
Thank you to the ladies who volunteered at the Craft & Quilt Fair last week. It was encouraging to see how well we were received at the show with many people interested in quilting and the different techniques used on our quilts. We welcomed Michelle to our group today who I met on Saturday at the show and we look forward to welcoming more new people to Hunters Hill Quilters.

Mid Week Retreat
Our mid week Retreat is at North Ryde RSL Club, 27-41 Magdala Road, North Ryde on Tuesday and Wednesday 9th - 10th September from 10am - 5pm. Come and enjoy the fun at our Retreat.
