Hi Everyone,

Today was another busy day at quilting with the challenge on what orphan blocks we will be sewing together at our Retreat in 3 weeks time. Sue D has taken the box of  Liberty fabrics and blocks which we received as a donation and will surprise us with her design to make a quilt for Community.

A couple of weeks ago Ann went on a knitting retreat and won the challenge for the Fingerless Mitten Competition. Well done Ann - are you taking orders?

Hi Everyone, 

With the Olympics on in Paris and our athletes winning gold Hunters Hill Quilters feel like we are on a similar path after our successful Quilt Show we feel we have won gold.

Thank you to all our members who were able to attend and volunteer your time for the show. The weather was good, the Town Hall looked amazing with the quilts hanging under the specialised hanging lighting, and the food from the Cafe was plentiful and tasty. The Stage Sales and Wagga areas were setup to entice the visitors into making a purchase or two.
